Part I

For the whole of the first half of 2010 Mars will be in your sign. OK. Science lesson over. Mars, really, has only one message. It says, over and over again, You've got to hurry up. And if there's something in the way, you'd better get rid of it.It is what we call an energising force. It awakens our sense of determination and motivation. It also creates a lot of stress. That's why I say don't panic, don't rush and don't feel as if you are going to run out of chances. Once Mars leaves your sign, other celestial forces also raise their feet from the pressure pedal by freeing you from the burden of a sense of helplessness. Bad experiences have eroded your faith and emotional issues have left you on the defensive. It may take some while before you begin to relax. But as you begin to feel better, you'd better be clear about what you would like the world to bring you. Do you know who you want to be with? Where you want to go? Be careful not to say the first thing that comes into your head and make the kind of wish you end up regretting. Pick wisely and well though, and when you get what you're after in 2010, you'll be truly glad of it, forever.

Part II

Once every couple of years, for a couple of months, Mars, planet of motivation, visits each sign. But Mars entered Leo in October and won't move on till June. That's a real cosmic kick in the pants. So what are you dragging your heels over? As if you didn't already know. You've got a lot to tackle and a good reason to waste no time. But remember; nothing makes waste like haste. Mars is not hurrying through Leo. Nor should you rush to your goal. Think tortoise and hare. Then think Walrus and Carpenter. In the first salutory tale, emulate the tortoise. In the second, the Carpenter! He knew perfectly well what he wanted yet he let the Walrus help him get it. Mars is a driving force. Drivers have to have vehicles. You need not eat any innocent oysters but if you can now be canny enough to support someone else while they do what you need them to, you'll spend the second half of 2010 making some of your wisest, most rewarding moves ever.
